The Brian Westbrook Foundation exists to close that gap. We put young people in rooms, on farms, in programs, and alongside mentors they might never have had access to otherwise. We give them the chance to discover something in themselves they didn't know was there.
A child may come to us to learn about horses, technology, entrepreneurship, or leadership. But that's not really what we're giving them. We're giving them the experience of realizing, "I can do this. I belong here. There may be a future for me that I never knew existed."
Brian's own life was changed because people invested their time, knowledge, resources, and belief in him. The Foundation is his way of making sure the next generation gets that same kind of investment.

Why It Matters
At the Brian Westbrook Foundation, we believe young people grow when they’re given opportunities to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and realize what they’re capable of achieving.
Our programs are built around three pillars that help prepare young people for success, both today and in the future.
Leadership
Leadership begins with confidence. We create opportunities for young people to find their voices, make decisions, take initiative, and learn to work with others. Whether they’re speaking in front of a group, solving problems, or taking responsibility for a project, they’re developing skills that will serve them in school, in their communities, and throughout their lives.
Financial Literacy
Understanding money is about more than dollars and cents. It’s about making informed decisions, setting goals, understanding priorities, and planning for the future. Through hands-on experiences, we help young people develop practical financial skills and the confidence to make smart choices that can create lasting opportunities.
Mental Health
Every young person deserves to feel heard, valued, and capable. We provide supportive environments where students can build resilience, develop healthy relationships, navigate challenges, and celebrate their progress. By encouraging self-awareness, emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging, we help young people develop the tools to face life’s challenges with confidence.
The Impact
These three pillars are woven into everything we do. We’re not simply teaching skills or providing experiences. We’re helping young people recognize their own potential, take ownership of their futures, and believe that their circumstances do not define what’s possible.
